Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Saathi mobile application and service (“Saathi”), operated by KiwiLabs-US LLC. By creating an account or using Saathi you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Saathi.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Saathi. Drivers must be 18 or older and are solely responsible for holding a valid driver’s license, insurance, and any permits required where they operate.
2. The service is an introduction only
Saathi matches ride requests with drivers, hosts price suggestions and bids, and shares contact details once both sides agree. Everything after the match (the trip, the final fare, and payment) is a private arrangement between the passenger and the driver. The suggested fare shown in the app is informational and non-binding. Saathi does not take a commission on rides.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to treat other users with respect, and to comply with all applicable laws. You are responsible for your own safety and for your conduct during any ride you arrange through Saathi.
4. Objectionable content and conduct: zero tolerance
Saathi has no tolerance for abusive, harassing, threatening, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable content or behavior, including in the in-app chat. You may report any user and block any user from within the app. We review reports and may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without notice. 5. Driver subscription
Where a driver subscription is offered, it grants access to receive ride requests and is billed on a recurring basis through the applicable payment processor. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees for rides themselves are never processed by Saathi.
6. Accounts and deletion
You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete account), which removes your account and associated personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Saathi is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Saathi does not screen users beyond what is described in the app and does not guarantee the conduct, reliability, or safety of any user. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KiwiLabs-US LLC and its operators are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from rides arranged through the service or interactions between users.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KiwiLabs-US LLC and its operators from claims arising out of your use of the service, your rides, or your violation of these Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
