Privacy Policy
Saathi (“Saathi”, “we”, “us”) is a community ride-matching service operated by KiwiLabs-US LLC that introduces passengers who need a ride to nearby drivers. Saathi facilitates the introduction and price negotiation only. The ride itself, the final fare, and payment for the ride are arranged directly between the passenger and the driver, off the platform. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and your choices.
1. Information we collect

2. How we use information
We use the information above to match ride requests with drivers, show fair-price suggestions, notify you about rides, bids, and messages, enable ratings, process the driver subscription, and maintain the security and reliability of the service. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
3. Information shared with others
Between matched users: when a passenger and a driver are matched, we reveal each party’s phone number to the other so they can coordinate the ride and payment directly. Co-riders in a shared ride see each other’s first name only, never each other’s phone number. Your name and rating are visible to people you are matched with. Driver vehicle details are shown to the matched passenger.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the service.
4. Payment for rides is off-platform
Saathi does not process payment for the rides themselves. Any fare shown in the app is an informational suggestion only and is not binding. Passengers pay drivers directly (for example, cash or a third-party payment app). We do not collect or store those transactions.
5. Data retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. Ride records and chat messages are retained to provide history and to help resolve disputes. You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete account), or by contacting us.
6. Your choices and rights
- Location: you can decline or revoke location permission in your device settings. You can still enter addresses manually, though closest-driver matching works best with location.
- Notifications: you can turn off push notifications in your device settings; the app falls back to in-app updates.
- Access & deletion: delete your account in-app, or email devesh.gupta.ai@gmail.com to access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Optional profile fields: demographic fields are optional and can be left blank or cleared at any time.
7. Children’s privacy
Saathi is intended for adults. Drivers must be at least 18. The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and signed authentication tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice.
